“Yep. Frustrating to end up on a comments thread from the germ of an audio piece. But I'll wager this is all interative and they'll get there - such is the web's way: you have something half-ready and get it up quick before someone trumps you, then work out the finer details live. It's an approach that really bakes the 'old media's' noodle. Their thing is to spend ages and ages getting it right behind the scenes, in production and research, before their one shot launch. They don't put out a half-finished Dr Who beta episode and wait for audience comments to then guide them to write, shoot, edit and transmit a second version. Closest to that I guess is Heroes, where I believe the fanbase has had a greater hand in the making of the 3rd series (for good or ill) - and of course, that fanboy phenomenon Snakes on a Plane where they DID release a beta and go back to put more Samuel L Jackson and motherfuckin' snake action... Anyways - I digress big time. Boobacks are inevitable, I'd say; just not immediate.” -

“A chef (not necessarily Gordon Ramsay) would be interesting - sharing their recipes or ideas for flavour combinations. I'm not sure you'd get the full experience with audio recipe to follow - from experience on a Food website, people want pictures - but I'd love to hear the *thinking* behind the dishes, quick tips and suggestions from experience. ” -

“Agree. Should be an option, not only to comment, but Booback. That would make for some surreal arguments / debates. Although, there's be nothing more depressing than clicking on an AudioBoo comment and discover it was just "LOL..." Or Worse: "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down..."”
