“Sometimes when military personnel come to the end of their detachment they not only leave the place, but some of their closest friends behind. The only way Steve ‘Fabio’ Clifton could cope with best bar bud, Dan from Movements leaving the Rock was put pen to paper and express his feelings through the power of poetry. The Breakfast Show is often accused of not having enough 'culture' on the show - so I decided that some poetry was exactly what we needed. Queue the tissues.…this could get emotional. ” -

“The Jaguar Building is RAF Gibrlatar's new HQ. It was officially opened by CJO for PJHQ Air Marshall Sir Stuart Peach. As well as a lovely champagne reception I was let loose to see what the building has to offer. Think Loyd Grossman stylee as I check out the important stuff, who's got the best kettle, where's the best place to catch a wee nap and where's the RAF's stash of chocolate kept......”
