British Public Radio's ambition is to showcase great speech radio and create new opportunities for producers. This is your chance to gain recognition for your work.
There will be 10 awards offered across five categories, plus the Gold Award for the most outstanding entry overall.The winner of each category will receive a Roberts Union Jack Sports 2 DAB digital radio, and the winner of the Gold Award will receive a Roberts Union Jack Revival DB60 digital radio.
We are seeking original audio which may have been used as a podcast, or broadcast on internet, student or community radio in the UK, or not yet used at all.
Content which has previously been aired on commercial or BBC stations is not eligible. See full terms and conditions.
Entry to The British Public Radio Awards is free and open now. Entries close on July 15th 2013.

syzygy That is fantastic! I am going to have to take a shortwave set when I next go away.. the urban RF is just horrid round here, too. For my own knowledge: how far was the wire extended beyond the aerial?
