“I needed the sound of someone tapping on a cheap gas gauge in an old beat up jeep. After listening to all of the sounds in my library, I just couldn't find anything that matched. So I ended up recording myself knocking on the plastic thermostat pictured above. It was the perfect balance of hollow plastic and light rattle. Used in Season 3.5 of Destination Truth / Episode 11 -- Ghosts of Masada.”

“It was around mid-day, early afternoon -- the traffic is pretty light on this street. As soothing as the audio may be, the neighborhood is actually kind of dirty. If you listen around the 1 min mark, you can actually hear a person on a bike pulling along an empty shopping cart.”
