OCorkyO i wish i could be so scared that my book was actually getting published! because i am at least a year away from even thinking about it (even though i do) but i am very high on the life i have found through writing....i also have panic attacks and shit.... but ever since i decided this is it and what i want to do ,,,,i am getting over all my body can throw at me! :)

HeikeM Hi - I wanted to send an audio-boo back but my mic doesn't work. So here just a few words: remember brrism, how panicky and nervous you were. But you did it anyway and you did it so well. You talked, lead a group and answered questions, everybody was nice - just like it is at an author reading. You introduce your book, you read a little and then you answer questions. Worked at brrism, will work at the book-launch. And the fear will make it better, fear is a good launch pad, keeps you sharp and focused. Anyway, feel hugged from me. And you will be ok!

237.84A proposal to #SpokenSunday writers.
almost 3 years ago1279123160 Aarhus, Central Denmark Region, Denmark
“I really like the idea, I'm with PJ on the opting out thing as once I find a spare moment to join in with Spoken Sunday I might be sharing stuff I have other plans for too. If people are getting royalties for what's put out on #SS then I wonder if I would feel conflicted about what I could and couldn't put out under that hashtag. I hasten to add that right now I am horribly tired, so probably need to come back to this when I am refreshed!” -

vexation Welcome Emma! Like you, I didn't really get it at first - but then I had some direct responses from people to my boos and it started to click. This was a form of communication I'd not come across before - and it plugs into the "short-form" nature of lot of internet content. Somewhere between and twitter post and a full blown podcast! Look forward to hearing more of your thoughts!
-
pjkaiser Emma - very nice boo - you did a fabulous job of avoiding the 'ummm's - it's obvious you're a bit more polished at recording yourself than i'm sure i will be when i make the plunge into my first boo.
-
benjaminsolah You have your own recording booth?! Awesome!
