“Hi Dean, Missed this before. Wow! You made our day today. May we use the snippet of audio of your experience with Citroen in the next episode of the podcast? We want to use stories we hear as discussion material.” -

492.912Nikon D800E v Phase One IQ180 comparison - 60x40 inch print comparison yields SHOCK result

1 like2 comments“Hi Kevin, Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment. The problem with showing files on screen is that they can never really show what we were seeing. Online photography forums and review sites are full of fairly meaningless comparison photographs cropped to 100%. The I80 wins that hands down. But it's not a real world representation. Nobody puts files that large on screen for normal portfolio applications. Our test showed that printed on 60x40 inch paper and viewed at a sensible viewing distance (ie, not with your nose right up against the print), the differences were there but minute. Certainly not reflecting the massive price difference between the two cameras. Hope that gives you some insight into our thinking.” -

Bletchley Park is the historic site of secret British codebreaking activities during WWII.
It is the birthplace of modern computing.
Winston Churchill described the Codebreakers as "The geese who laid the golden egg but never cackled."
Here you will find stories told by the codebreakers, staff and volunteers, audio from events and lectures, stories which are still emerging and reports on the progress of the development of Bletchley Park.

“This is inspirational and important audio. It is a call to action. A manifesto of sorts. We are surrounded by amazing people, doing remarkable things. Sometimes it's us ourselves; other times it is somebody else. Their stories are important to someone, somewhere - now and in the future. The simple act of asking and recording can have profound consequences. It can create a treasure. At the very least, it produces a window that allows those not present to connect with a departed loved one, or an inspirational figure they wouldn't otherwise be able to hear. Stories connect us. For Moses' children, you Christian have made that bond.” -
