By the way Bob, I am in favour of leccy vehicles, I just have doubts about the precious metals used in the manufacture of batteries, and the lack of standardisation in basics like batteries, chargers and even the plug used.
The race to be the first/best/smartarsed is, as usual, overriding any common sense, wasting precious energy and resources. If I, a mere simpleton, can throw up these hurdles, imagine what someone clever could do.
