I suppose, on reflection, it's not about honesty per se - it's about how much of yourself you choose to share and under what circumstances. I'm not a big fan of confessional journalism and I grew out of blogging my every emotional turmoil when Livejournal went out of fashion. So I'm trying to negotiate having a voice and personality online that facilitate rather than obscuring my writing and the other work I do. Not sure where the line between honesty and oversharing falls these days. Does that make sense?
