My mixer was acting up, as usual... gonna be getting my new one soon though! All the dropout problems will be solved with a Mackie 1640i... gonna be so sweet by comparison! The improv acoustic wanderings were recorded direct from the output of my new Ibanez, Ambiance Series Acoustic, through Pod Farm 2 (Piezo amp being emulated), then run through my analog EQ and stereo compressor. A second signal is running reverb on the drums and guitar. The recorded audio (guitar and verb) has some dropouts, but begins behaving somewhat at around 1 minute. The drums are just looping a generic midi pallet out of the BFD2 presets, but are using my nearly finalized and mixed kit for recording, going forward. Not too shabby a mix for only three stereo tracks! ...one of which being a 100% wet reverb track. Oh, yeah... I performed a 'one minute mastering' with iZotope's Ozone at the end. God, I love that plugin!
