Greg & Chris - thanks so much for listening & commenting! I am definitely still interested in "real" podcasting but I think it's going to have to wait awhile since I essentially have no free time at the moment. But it will be a fun project for another day! :-)
I found the book Podcasting for Dummies very useful for figuring out how to do this whole podcasting thing. However, Audioboo is a great way to make it more casual. Talk. Upload. Done. It takes me about 3 days to record and edit an episode of the 100 Stories Podcast. So, if you are thinking about doing a more formal podcast, be mindful that it does take up a lot of time. Having said that, I really enjoy making the 100 Stories Podcasts, and am happy to take the time to do it.
Audioboo is great and it's great to hear your voice. I'm looking forward to #spokensunday Garage Band is awesome too and if you want to do full-blown podcasts with music, sound effects, etc., I suggest using it.
By the way, the picture for this boo is a bloom from my hibiscus tree in my garden (that i bought at shoprite for $14.99!) I can't believe i've been able to keep it alive long enough for it to bloom! ;-)
