I guess I've got a bit of a problem since my natural dialect IS to speak fast. Geordies are kind of known for it. Shall do my best to slow down next time though.

I enjoyed that a lot. Yes, you read it a bit fast, but I got it anyway. Lovely flash.

I think this works really well as spoken, especially given the length and your voice is engaging so it kept me listening

great little flash fiction. given this is your first spoken sunday of your own work - you have done fantastically - I know only too well the *terror* of chomping at the bit and rushing the words as you read. However, the pace - though fast - fits the style of the fiction... urging you onward - like the hot rods and young men proving their masculinity.

Icy - this is a nice piece, but, to be honest, your reading was a bit too fast for me. After listening to it twice i think i've got it, tho :-)
