Thanks, PJ. I need more practice. It's been years since I've given a speech, and I find myself concentrating too much. I mounted the microphone up high so I could stand to deliver better voice. I knew this story would be good vocally since while I was writing it, I spoke to the room in order to get the rhythm right.
David - i love this story - i remember it from your blog. I thought i recognized it from the title, and then a few lines into it, I remembered. It has a wonderful rhythm to it that really comes out in your audio recording. You were a bit hesitant at the beginning of the recording but you spoke it with much feeling as you went on. Great story and great recording :-)
