You have colour, light, sound, all the senses awake right away at the start of the story. I'd like more dialogue but I think that's just because like PJ I'd like to know more about what's going on. It's a very intriguing beginning.
David - this is an intriguing start to your novel. You read it a bit fast but it still seems very cool, it raises a lot of questions which is good. I'd like to read more.
