I was gutted when they made the 73 into a bendy bus :( Lived on Church Street in Stoke Newington for 6 years right outside a 73 bus stop. It WAS the sound of london for me - a Routemaster ticking over as people boarded. I really miss them - and hate Bendy buses with a passion. Dangerous and entirely unsuitable for London's street architecture.
