OK, revised criteria having considered the complications and cost of making on iphone.
Revised rule simply that it has to be a 1 minute piece of music, made by you, submitted as a boo.
I've started the build on AudioBooTH.net and it will be very simple, until the API arrives. It will....
Embed all files tagged with AudioBooTH or @audiobooth and allow you to vote on them. Add further taxonomy to the file : ie Genre / Kit used etc Present charts ; All genres and by genres.
That's all I plan for now - but of course once the site gets going and if this project proves popular, we can respond to suggestions.
yea - live would be awesome on an iphone! I use the two OSC apps there to control Live with my iphone.
You can acheive similar results with a combination of Beatmaker, noise pro, and the other Star apps - as they all export to beatmaker - which has 2 fx channels and some great sequencing features. Loopy supplements them nicely, as it allows quick and easy jamming.....and four track just does the job it needs to very well.
four track is good (when it finally gets to work on i touch os3.0 willing) but an ableton live app is what I would be happy with right now that and a bluemic to work on pod ...love the audiobooth idea
aye - you can export audio files over wifi from all the apps - The 'Crude' idea being you simply play the mix back to Audio Boo it.....unless they introduce an upload of wav/mp3 type facility.
I guess crude is the key here - not talking about audiophile masterworks, just 1 minute creations that stay on your iPhone until they are complete.
