Swift, ah the swifts... Starting to head south again now. I love to see them flying high - it's meant to mean fine weather (although I am not sure how true this is)
Thanks @IanKath, I know a few people who feel like this. It's not a new thought of mine. I may have even done an audioboo on this a while back. I was just reminded of it this morning when trying to watch a 18 minute video i wanted to take with me on my walk.
I guess i'm called a video blogger because at one point I was involved with a number of push button video publishing platforms like Seesmic and 12seconds.tv. Audio was where I started though with the Documentally podcast many years ago. It's just been pulled from iTunes actually as my xml was borked or something.
I listen to a lot of audio as i can do so anywhere and whilst doing other things. I love the term 'Theatre of the mind'. I will apologise in advance for stealing that and using it everywhere. Thanks for the comment. :)
Wow, I'm surprised to hear you speaking like this Christian, being a photo/videogapher.
Most people will argue that video is the only way to go, the only system that is worth worrying about. Forget about text, don't worry about the poor cousin audio it has to be video!
Audio is storytelling and that's why I'm doing my thing. Audio is easy to produce, easy to edit and everyone loves a good story. Video as you know is by an order of magnitude more difficult for many reasons but audio we can all do easily with an iPhone - you just did.
The swift crap sounded better than you would have ever managed to get on video anyway because of your reaction add the photo of your mutt and we have theatre of the mind. Try creating the images in my head on video and it would have taken you all day.
