This is so relaxing. I think I could fall asleep to you voice but not in a boring way, a soothing way. I want to use Social Media more and use it smarter. :-) I would love to do the notebook thing, it's kind of like having twitter set on private and allowing nobody to follow you.
Bookdreamer - I gotcha. In that case, hmmmm, interesting :-) For notes, I am rather "in love" with Egretlist + Evernote as a combination, plus Google Docs to keep my writing portfolio, so that I can access and share it from anywhere and also it's a great way of having a back up. (This also sorts out my rather disorganised, scrambled thoughts quite nicely.) Omaniblog - I do. I'm a regular tweeter. Username @janeprinsep. I have found it invaluable in increasing my readership. But Audioboo, and of course, Mark's support, is proving to be just as invaluable now.
Thanks Mark - must encouraging Thanks Ernmander - I've listened to and admired your voice. Thank Bookdreamer - AudioBoo can be longer than 5 minutes. I'm not sure what the limit is but I suggest you contact Mark Rock. I've been listening to your 50 word poems & stories - lovely idea & discipline - I must have a go.Like you, I can see many different ways of using AudioBoo - maybe it depends on how audio-oriented a person you are - certainly I'm committed to putting audio and writing together because I've found there are many who prefer listening to reading. Thank Jane. I wonder if you use Twitter too?
In practice I use a blog and post via smart phone observations, story ideas, sketches, pictures etc as they occur, I can then sort and retrieve easier then say a written journal, which I know from practice I never keep, The Twitter was a passing notion and more linked to work in progress re nano stories or poems that could be posted later rather then a journal as such.
Interesting idea, but can't understand what's wrong with using the oodles of apps out there perfect for note-taking, ideas and scribbles. Evernote, Google Docs etc. The list is endless, and these apps have security perfect for the purpose. Twitter isn't for that. It's a social app, a networking app, a marketing app and a lot more besides. It isn't for web storage.
A very late reaction to your boo. The extract I am reacting to is inside my audio message! Cheers! http://dzakyem.com/audio/Recording-short.mp3
