Update: Detectives have had a 'phenomonal' response after an appeal for information on a violent burglary appeared on Crimewatch last week. Officers have received nearly 80 calls from the public since a reconstruction of the burglary in which a 70-year-old man was burned with a clothes iron was shown on the BBC programme on Wednesday, September 8. http://bit.ly/9X4LKE
