According to the Google map on this Boo, you're in the middle of the river! I did read that about LOST. As you know, i've never watched an entire episode. But, like Ken, i do get that community aspect & the fact that this was pre-social media is very interesting & pretty ground breaking too.
I never followed the show Lost and I do realize I missed out on a really good program. I missed a few seasons, I meant to catch up on them and never did, so I never felt I was missing anything. I can tell by all of the videos about lost and comments all over the web over the years that it developed a unique community online. I never like an excellent program coming to an end. Remember when shows like MASH ended? Such a downer! ; )
While I was not a Lostie (is that right?), I do appreciate what you're saying about the Lost Community. But, really, online community and the social web did pre-date Lost. I swear. Even Friendster was old by then ;^)
