Its like the big thing now again! 3D but when it comes down to classic movies and making them 3D thats a line you do not cross

I agree that they are getting carried away with all this 3D stuff. But I will still see all 6 Star Wars movies or at least the old ones aka episode 4 to 6 in theaters in 3D. Love anything with old school Star Wars. lol

I'll be honest & say that i don't really get the current fascination with 3D anyway. But, i certainly don't get the idea of rehashing an old movie as a 3D version. Like Ken said, it's like colouring Casablanca, a complete no go area, imho.

Agreed on the point that if the film was not originally conceived and shot for 3D, optically adding it in post will likely be lame at best, insulting at worst. Kind of like colorizing Casablanca.
