Andy, Hi.. And cheers. i like the point abut pulling out the right weapon at the right time.. also thanks for the flash mention.. I forget about that.
Colt, cheers I think if i had to choose i am with you.
Geoff, Loving your wisdom on this. Great points made.. I love the fact the boo's are short too.. although if you look closely at a few of my boo's you may notice i am not restrained by the normal laws of physics.. ;)
Agree absolutely Christian. One click publishing is what I hanker after: easier, usually good design. And yes, room for all kinds of media, but for the creator ... simplicity is good.
Most of the time, I think yeah, audio is enough. You have the type of personality that comes through great regardless of the medium. I also like that the boos are short-ish which forces people to get to the point. BUT, there are things that demand video. I don't think I need to list those because you no doubt know exactly what I mean. So maybe 75% boo (w/ picture of course) and the rest twitpics and videos? I always go back to one of your tweets that says something like "the medium is not the message, the message is the message". So yes, boo away if it's easier for you.
My own view is that I engage with Audio far easier than video. I do like photos to supplement, but I really could be without online video and not bothered.
Big questions Documentally! And this is a qualified answer as I only came to you via @markrock and AudioBoo so haven't known anything else from you but, in my book, there's always going to be a place for all three(four); print, audio, video and interactive/flash animation. Just a case of horses for courses. And this AudioBoo lark specifically is a) suited to so many different uses thanks to the pics and geo tagging and b) just so....new and fresh. My advice - just take out whichever tool you reach for first. Subconsciously you'll have picked the right one!
