Ouch! Hearing your voice so low in the beginning kinda hurt.....hope you are better now? and its ok to be crazy..its the crazy people that are the best.
Also...this is something i have to say....when you said in this podcast..that you can just go back to routine when there is a problem out there and you not being able to turn your back on it.....well i just need to say....i am proud to be one of your listeners Myles...sometimes....somethings you say....make it worth it all. :D
Do what you need to do...people are waking up....whats right isn't always obvious to people.
You're doing great Myles, keep going. It's not down to you to change the world! So don't worry so much. But I think you're in the transitional stage between a life as a slave to society (having a 9 to 5 and not questioning anything) to becoming more active member of the resistance. There are people who will support you if you decide to take this new direction in life as many people have done it before you. I'm afraid that even if you did want to go back to your old ways, I think you'll find it very difficult, because once you've really started seeing things the way you do and caring about a better alternative, you can't just switch off from it, it's always with you. What you're doing is highly worth while! Help out Zeitgeist! What a great opportunity. You don't have to give up life as you know it, we all have to make sacrifices and play the game that is society to some degree, but I think you've found a new calling.
Hey Myles...I know that you think a routine will take you away from what you feel you have to do, but I would argue the opposite. You need to have something that gets you up in the morning if you want to try to fix everything. You'll be of no use if your mind is constantly racing from the absence of a routine. I was unemployed for the first 6 months of this year and I thought it was gonna be great because I could sit and write all day and maybe get an agent...but when you have all that time, at least in my case, I wasted it and all my inspiration went to shit. Take care of yourself first and doors will open, I promise you.
sorry that third sentance should have read "Go with your instincts perhaps, but not your heart alone." See, don't do things when you are deprived of sleep!!
You will never think clearly until you sleep well. NEVER make decisions when you are sleep deprived. I can't tell you to think with your heart because your heart doesn't have a brain. Go with your instincts perhaps, but not your brain. The world isn't going to implode this year or next year or this decade, so you have a bit of time. Get a bit of perspective happening. Then make your decisions, map them out if needed, but don't decide anything until you are rested, de-stressed and happy. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAT EVERYTHING WILL NOT SEEM SO GLOOMY WHEN YOU REST! You can't help anyone if you are a cot case, plus, people can manipulate you when you are tired.
