well the 13" is totally different to your current 15" because it has that new battery, new gpu and when snow leopard hits will be able to use all that new onboard tech. i would say that a new 13" with the same spec + ssd would fly. you really have to see/play with a SSD drive enabled machine to see how quick they are. in bootup and day to day operation.
