Mepal Molly dancers have danced in and around the Isle of Ely every Plough Monday (the first Monday after Epiphany) since 1977. Their routine of 3 dances is preceded by the song heard here. As usual, they arrived at Coveney in the late afternoon and danced to a small audience of villagers living opposite the old school house before ending the afternoon in Ely Market square.
