I think Nokia specialise in cheaper (non smartphone phones) where they have picked up the lead but the tide is turning, people now want smartphones, where they can do everything on their phone and Nokia have been left behind.

They stuck with Symbian for too long and where they knew it wasn't working, now they have joined forces with Microsoft, I can't see it getting any better to be honest.

I don't think this is just a latest trend, I have an android phone and would never go back to anything else, just like people with an Iphone. Nokia have to move with the times.

Thanks for comment Emma. Enjoy listening to your Boo's!

Good point in Europe. Nokia still number 1 in handset sales globally, though they are loosing ground. Apple are focussed on more lucrative markets such as Europe. http://goo.gl/DrIG4

The main message is for business and not chasing the latest trend or new customers all the time. Look after the whole market and your existing customers.

Take care

Sybian is a dead platform, For smartphones, Nokia are dead in the water.

Noone is developing for Symbian anymore. It is only IOS and Android.
