That was Max and Ewan - both 9 years old. eloquent and thoughtful young men. I've been talking to children a lot this week. My experience is that if you respect them, listen to them, truly listen to them - there's a lot they're prepared to tell you and eloquence is just there beneath the surface. I've been asking them questions they don't get asked much. About confidence, sadness, anger, pride, friendship... My favourite answer so far to the question: what are the best things do you think about being a grown up? "A: Having a beard!"
