NATO - Operation Unified Protector
French Air Force - Opération Harmattan

Two French Air Force Dassault Mirage F1-CR were heading waypoint MEGAN returning from an Operation Unified Protector mission in Libya. The Mirages didn't make it to land Base Aérienne 126 Solenzara on the French island Corsica this afternoon.
The aircraft have landed at Luqa Malta after one of them suffering a hydraulic problem. The first one, callsign FAF 7822A with the hydraulic problems, landed at 12:25 UTC was
a Dassault Mirage F1- CR tail nr 657 / 112-CL from Unit ER01.033 Armée de l’Air. The second Mirage (FAF 7822B) dumped fuel 10 miles South of Malta while in the loupe at 12:27 to 12:31 UTC and landed 14:45 UTC on RWY 13. Finally the FAF7822A Mirage reported to Malta Tower everything is OK.
