This poem, Above the Eagle by a Mr P Bryce, was printed in Peter Rhodes' column of the Express and Star newspaper shortly before the 66th aniversary of the Battle of Britain. I haven't heard a reading or seen it published elsewhere so I thought I'd give it an airing. Trouble is, I couldn't sound less like a World War Two fighter pilot if I tried. If you can do it justice with a better reading, please do so.
