That is very awesome, Matt!
One I first started taking drawing seriously, and thoughts of making comics first entered my head, I had my daughter in mind as a protagonist. She's been a driver in many of my art-related ideas, including some cartoon strips. I haven't quite hit on anything yet, but its still there. Something to chronicle my daughter growing up, so she has something to look at and read in the future about what her dad thought about her, etc. - Now you unveil one of your art driving feelings related to your own daughter, and I can totally relate. Having a daughter is such a responsibility and an honor, and I'm so glad to see you incorporating the idea into your art. I have to tip my hat to you. Such an inspiration is hard to ignore, almost like trying to block the sun with your hand.
Congratulations on showing this. Its awesome, and I know it will be awesome to your daughter as she grows up. Kudos, and deep respect.
Thanks for sharing this. Very very inspiring!
