I recorded this in 1999 as part of my sound design course at LCP, in binaural on a Tascam DAT in 48k,using two Sennheiser k6 mics with omniheads, mounted on a stand with spacer bar, usinga couple of big hardback books as the 'head'component. I was positioned in the centre of the road with the poles at a right angle to the traffic movement to maximise the stereo 3d effect. Best listened to with headphones.
