I know you know this Bernie but for those reading the boo comments here the "ED" on the tail of the T-38 represents the aircraft is home based at the 412th TW Edwards AFB, CA AFMC. The T-38 a fine aircraft.
The T-38 aircraft in boo cover art is Tail Number 302 built in 1964 and flying out of Edwards AFB, California. We would use to burn, back in the day, contaminated J-4 for our CFR/ARFF training fires. Usually 1000 gallons a burn, what ever base I was stationed at. I can remember my graduation burns at Chanute Air Force Base were 2000 gallons a burn. Think we did three burn runs. Glad you were burning the JP-4 the correct way Bernie. Those numbers are WOW! A lot of math going on there but of course you had to do alot a math when you had the stick in hand. : ) Good listen Bernie, thank you! : )
