Sounds great! Glad I introduced you to Audioboo. Hope you enjoy your further experimentation in micropodcasting using the iPhone. You're right about the spontaneity and the simplicity of this application. The issue of brevity (as the soul of wit or wisdom) is a good one. The 5 minutes that Audioboo allows is perfect for a quick grab, a provocative statement, a 'hook' or a pitch which can then be expanded upon in a more traditional format e.g., as I am doing now in a comment either here or in another blogsite. I also like the ability of Audioboo to capture a particular audio environment. On that note, it was nice to hear a couple of Adelaide birds chortling away in the background.
Congratulations on joining the audioboo scene guys - what kept you? Somehow I think we just gave matches to pyromaniacs! Expect to hear interesting and provocative stuff.
Between the Buttons educational podcast program grew out of the work of Ian Green and Allan Carrington from the University of Adelaide. They have been leading podcast teams at Research and Educational conferences around the world. An example of their conference podcast programs is the Apple University Consortium (AUC) Create World conference 2008 at this website http://createworld2008.edublogs.org/. Please reflect on the micro podcast episodes of Between the Buttons and add comments here.... be part of the wisdom!
