During this week’s Agriculture and Rural Development Committee meeting, Minister Michelle O’Neill briefed the Committee on the role the agri-food sector can play in the Northern Ireland economy. We caught up with Committee Chair, Mr Paul Frew, to get an overview on what was discussed during the briefing and why the matter is important to the Committee. In addition, Paul relayed the Committee’s views on the issue of Slurry Spreading, a current topic of particular interest to the farming community across Northern Ireland.
