Wow a Barbie doll launcher! Sounds ace! We just pottered around looking at stuff cos it's hard to persuade Aled to sit still and watch something. Maybe next time when he's older.

We went to see the National Railway Museum this summer and had a fantastic time too! Did you get to see one of the shows? We had a demonstration of explosive science - explanations of Newton's laws and how steam engines worked with the help of a steam powered barbie doll launcher - it was FAB! Easily the best place we've visited this year and much much better than the overpriced overcrowded Yorvik Museum!
