Taxi drivers in Derby say there are too many vehicles for such a small city and they're struggling to make ends meet

Earlier in the programme we heard from Taxi Drivers in Derby who say there are too many cabbies on the road. The association of taxi drivers says it's because they're having to work longer to make ends meet. Because of that - it says some of their cabs AREN'T properly maintained. Well the city council's working to tackle parking offences INCLUDING the overcrowding of taxis at ranks around the city. So are there are just too many licensed cabs?
