I think the crux of the matter is if you're publishing a public boo you should bear in mind it could be cross posted anywhere by anyone, so bear that in mind when recording, don't say anything you can defend, and then don't worry about who posts it where. Just be glad for a few extra plays!
Thanks again Macolgan for drawing so many into this issue. After listening to you - thinking 'he's putting the issue to bed' - I've made an Audioboo.
I keep reminding myself there are so many users of audioboo who will never listen to all this discussion.

You've touched on exactly the right problem when it comes to linking to a boo as you have no idea if it's been publicised or not.
At the end of the day, there's never a problem with posting a *link* to a public boo :)
