Rain, it's a subject most of of us feel more than qualified to talk about but it could be worse... no really. Imagine living in a city where there's too much rain and the majority of the population already live below sea level? In Rotterdam they are pioneering new ways of coping with excess water, it's a €100 million project and the media call it 'Rotterdam's wet dream'. It features giant underground reservoirs, rooftop water storage allotments and a whole network of sophisticated pumps and vaults. Anna Holligan went to see them in action.
