Could you be the iF Poems/Times Young Poet Competition of the Year? Enter our young poets'
competition for the chance to have your poem published in The Times.
Are you inspired by William Wordsworth’s Daffodils? Can you write
about something as weird and wonderful as Lewis Carroll’s Jabberwocky?
The Times together with the new iF poems app for iPad are launching a
competition to find the most creative young poets.
If you are aged 16 or under, we’d love you write us an original poem,
no longer than 24 lines - and why not record yourself reading it out
too?
For more information or to enter your written submission, visit
thetimes.co.uk/poetrycompetition.
To submit a recording of your poem, simply hit the ‘Record / Upload’
button above.
Thanks for taking part – and good luck!
Please note:
You must submit a written poem to enter the competition. Entries will
be judged on quality of writing, not performance. Click here for full
terms and conditions.
