QR-Codes in Education - Why?

OnTheSuperFly I agree there's value in QR codes. I believe it's the mystery... the curiosity that a QR code generates once you know what it does. I'm not sure how long it'll take for that to ware off but I think the frustration comes with poor content on the other side. However, if your students exposure to QRs is mostly through what they get at school through your management then you'll probably sustain that interest and curiosity... 'what's he put up now..?' kind of thing... I started using AudioBoo as a way of documenting book reviews by my kids. I'm amazed by how much they say in the review that never came out in our discussions at bedtime... genuine reflection going on... Have a listen, maybe it's something that you could incorporate into your projects...

johnjohnston Hi James, I enjoyed your boo. I am a big posterous fan although I have left the classroom so have not had a chance to use it with pupils. Most of my blogging was done with pivot (I'll choose other on the poll) it is not as popular as other platforms but allows a fair bit of customisation with minimal css & html. I wonder if you would like to add an edutalk tag to this boo, it would them get pulled into http://edutalk.cc/ a posterous powered community podcast?
