FelicityVFord This is beautiful. I got some hissing sounds from a young Barn Owl/Tawny Owl (not sure which) but have thus far failed to capture the classic and evocative woo woos which you have here! There is a fantastic project called twitchr by Kathy Hinde and Ed Holroyd which organises bird recordings onto a map of the UK which can then be played... to have your owl recording on there (if interested) you just need to tag the sound with twitchr. Just thought I'd pass on the bird-sound appreciation. Thanks for sharing the nice owl sound!
