thermalsatsuma You need to enable the recording device and then it will show up as a device in audacity and can be recorded directly: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Mixer_Toolbar_Issues#Using_the_Control_Panel On mine it shows up as 'Primary sound capture' in the drop down box next to the microphone icon.

thermalsatsuma I was going to offer to record this, but you beat me to it! Tools like Audacity are very useful for this sort of thing. Irritating that you didn't get a chance for a final response to the minister sneaking in the point about assessments at the end,
