Thoughts that are heard repetitively become our personal truth. Think about the thoughts that run through your head daily. Or what you were told as a kid over and over again. When we hear those ideas they become our own. Affirmations help to foster positive change in our lives such as lose weight, boost self esteem, reduce stress. How do Affirmations work? They are statements that are structured in the positive. We can use them in a wide variety of ways: Write them out daily. Print and put them in a jar. Pull one each day to focus on. Create a collage with inspiring words and affirmations to inspire you each day. Use affirmations in your vision board. Listen to them recorded while doing other activities (cooking, cleaning, driving, etc.). Here are some stress reducing affirmations for your use: I am calm and relaxed as I meet the challenges of the day. Challenges help me grow each and every day. I am happy and at peace. When the outside world is crazy I go to my place of peace. I chose a positive mind set. I am balanced. I am focused and centered. I can accomplish anything. I break larger challenges into manageable pieces. My intention is for love and peace in every situation. I am strong and capable. I love with my entire being.
