PC Mark Lee has just received the Christopher McDonald Community Officer of the Year Award.
The award was presented in memory of PC McDonald - the first Notts officer to be killed in the line of duty in 1978 while investigating a burglary in Worksop.
PC Lee was commended for his dedication, self-motivation and positive approach and his work with the community in Worksop.

Louise Ogden, who manages the force's Northern Control Room in Mansfield, has just received the Outstanding National Achievement Award.
This recognised the fact that she beat off competition from 50 fellow emergency service colleagues from across the nation to win the coveted Team Manager of the Year Award at the Call Centre Management Association's national awards earlier this year.

nottspoliceCaretaker Fred Nash is the first winner of our Police Staff Employee of the Year award.
The Worksop site services officer manages a team of staff in Worksop and Newark, and has consistently maintained standards across B division, which covers 60 per cent of the county, including Worksop, Newark and Retford.
He was described as hands on and inspirational.

nottspoliceRetired officer Roy Savage has received the Lifetime Achievement Award following 33 years' frontline service with Nottinghamshire Police.
He retired from his post in Harworth in April this year.
During his career, he supported and advised fellow officers through his work with the Police Federation, was a trustee of the Force Benevolent Fund and a trustee of the Northern Police Charities Convalescent Home.
He was commended for setting exemplary standards for others to follow and representing the force with professionalism and pride.
