AmvvlaThis type of incident happens a lot in Dalston and no debate is really allowed about it. Don't get paranoid about it, its the area you live in, not anything about you.
VibemanBackground or wallflower music happens to be an artform in itself. I have been a lifer in music long enough to understand the difference between being a session player for artists such as yourself, leading my own bands in concerthalls or performing as a wallflower. That's why you were irritated; the music was simply wrong for the setting. The fault falls 50% on the artist who doesn't understand the venue:50% the management who just doesn't understand why they have music there in the first place.
FreakyFwoofOuch... That hurts me deeply. I'm only a piano player but always a good way to learn new chords. I know Jazz isn't everybody's cup of tea but ouch, anyway...
markrockI would personally see that as an opportunity for a new musical direction...
