ihatemorningsWow. That's a quality ZX Spectrum sound effect loop I'm buried under. It's happened before with the MicroMemo and 1st Gen iPod Touch. Sometimes you have to quit all the apps, plug in the mic, start AudioBoo, record a bit, turn on the MicroMemo speaker, listen back. 50/50 success rate.
If anyone knows what makes it work or not I'd love to know. At the moment I'm stuck with hefty soundchecks, which I forgot this time.
And while I'm at it, how come the same mic setup that produces wonderful, crisp audio in AudioBoo gives me low-level distorted crap in Voxie and Fring? Is there some sort of mic/line level switch in the software? Preamp settings? Can't figure it out.

ColtSeaversouch - mic not plugged in properly i don't think mate --- or you forgot to get out of the microwave?
