DocumentallyWhen I am in nature I am in nature. I would never normally describe a bike ride in the country as being in nature. More like be in the moment. The noise is fleeting as i fly through these villages and towns.
Although it is beautiful to ride through winding country lanes I love outdoor endeavors more for the enjoyment to be had in natural environments. Turning things off. Living with nature and as little as possible on top of it. We are quick to forget that just because we are the biggest destroyers of it that we are in fact nature ourselves. :)

KateSherrodTerribly funny story, by the way! My first serious bike was a police department special - a recovered bike that had been in impound for years. My worst friend Chilly, #2 at the water and sewer department, spiffed it up and it was good as new and I rode it to death over the next several years.
KateSherrodYou won't regret it, my dear, really you won't. I failed to add in stating the case for bike commuting what is perhaps the most important benefit: No matter how bad a day you've had at the office, by the time you're home it doesn't matter!
