I can see the advantage of having one, but not to be able to boo on it is a serious disadvantage :) My Safari browser recorded boo comments worked btw. I don't think anyone likes being chained to the desk all day.
Ernmanderit is good for when you don't want to boot up a laptop or PC. I use Twitter apps on mine and sometimes the audioboo app. But yes I could live without my iPad.

Not really pointless. I don't have one, but I'd get one for the mobility. I don't want to be tied down behind a desk all day.
