dvgilMan I love your boos, your honesty and frankness are a big help to me in thinking about my own life and how to deal with it but if it were me I think I that I'd stick to the professional reasons. They are strong and good.
skevosmavrosI thought it was a good email. Polite but firm. Personally I might not have bothered with the personal reasons, and just stuck with the professional ones as they were more than enough to justify your decision, but you obviously felt the client needed to know that extra information. I've overpromised to clients before myself and the resulting long nights and compromises are just not worth it, so backing out now is better for all.
