Have spent many happy hours on the damned stupid helplines for many people trying to get connections sorted. When it comes to elderly people this sort of service is not on.
The whole country is being throttled and capped by these dinosaurs who send press releases saying they are delivering 'next gen access' and the stupid newspapers just print them as truth. madness. You are not alone. Not that is any comfort! We keep fighting the good fight for the little people. nice boo

LesleySmithI was in your situation 2 years ago and I feel for you. I was getting less than 56kps after six pm despite getting 2mbs during the day. I recommend Sky as they use local loop unbundling - basically you get a direct line to you exchange rather than sharing you bb connection with the entire area. It's faster (I get around 6-8mbs) and a lot more stable. Plus Sky have tech support here as opposed to India. Good luck!
