brummigThese are the sounds in Birmingham's Victoria Square on the last Saturday in May every year as the Gay Pride parade gets under way. The parade took over 15 minutes to pass, and so this recording is a medley. It starts with the Dhol Blasters, moves on to Chicken Mick revving up all 492 litres of his motortrike, and finally after various floats are a motorbike, a Range Rover, a fire pump, and an aerial rescue platform from the West Midlands Fire Brigade, all making an absolutely splendid racket.
